Crystallised honey hasn't gone off

How to make honey runny again without spoiling it.

Crystallised honey hasn't gone off
1

Crystallisation is natural: real honey almost always sets within a few months. It isn't a sign of fakery or spoilage.

2

Stand the glass jar in a pan of warm water, no hotter than 40–45 °C, and stir until the crystals dissolve.

3

Don't boil honey or microwave it: overheating destroys its aroma and enzymes.

4

Keep honey in a closed jar at room temperature. It crystallises faster in the fridge.
