Get the smell of fish and garlic off your hands

A stainless-steel spoon, lemon or coffee grounds — better than soap.

Get the smell of fish and garlic off your hands
1

Rub your hands on stainless steel — a spoon, the flat of a knife blade or the sink — under cold running water for 30 seconds.

2

Or rub them with half a lemon or a mix of salt and lemon juice, then wash with soap.

3

Coffee grounds and dry mustard powder also absorb odours well.

4

Use cold water: hot water sets the smell into your skin.
